I was so excited when Megan emailed me and wanted to set up a birthday session for Lahna!  Scott and I went to school together and have known each other since we were kids.  Megan and I met a few months ago and I knew after talking with them they were going to be so much fun to photograph!!  Megan asked if we could do pictures on the Horne’s family farm and I’m SO glad she did!  I love shooting in new places and this did not disappoint.  We drove down behind the corn fields and down into the woods.  A pond, a country lane, and the perfect little patch of Queen Anne’s Lace next to the cotton field made for the perfect location!!  We finished it off with a trip to Grammy’s garden and huge tree where Lahna picked the prettiest zinnia for me!

Oh this sweet girl!!  Lahna just celebrated her second birthday so mom and dad brought along her Curious George, books, and LOTS of bubbles!!  Lots and lots of bubbles!!  It was so much fun to watch her run through them!!  Lahna picked some flowers and I cannot get enough of that little nose scrunch when she smells them!!  GAH!!  So adorable!!!

Megan and Scott, thank you so much for inviting me along on this little adventure with you guys!  I had so much fun and it was an absolute pleasure to meet Lahna!!  She’s so precious!!  And you guys are rocking the parent thing!!  Happy Birthday, Lahna!!!  I can’t wait to hang out with you guys again soon!!!
