I was so excited that it actually started to look like FALL for this sweet family’s session at Chippokes State Park earlier this month!  This is the first time I’ve shot there and, gracious, it doesn’t disappoint!!  The park holds a special place for this family so I was so happy that we were able to meet up in Surry for pictures and that Sherie’s parents were able to join us also!  I love when we can get so many generations together!

All of these gorgeous fall colors were so worth the drive!!  I think we got the best of both worlds – beautiful fall leaves AND a walk on the beach!!!  Daisy and Magic were more than happy to take a little swim in the river and I think Magic would still be swimming if her daddy kept throwing a stick for her!
