OOOOOOOO, you guys.  This for real happened!!  (Not at my house though!!  Let’s not get crazy!)  When your best friend gets a puppy and you’ve done three out of four of her baby pictures, you bring over alllllll the newborn stuff!!  Meet Cocoa Bean!!  How freaking cute is she!? My favorite Z family adopted her from the Isle of Wight Humane Society in September, which you know I love!!  Pound puppies are the best puppies (but I’m a little biased!)!

As it turns out, puppies and babies aren’t that different… except for the chewing!  Cocoa decided she’d rather play with me for a bit before we finally wore her out.  She curled up on the couch, snuggled down in her blanket, and was out!  (I told Laura that was the “lifestyle” portion of her session!)  Once she was out, we transferred her over and she was out like a light!

Lonnie loves Cocoa and is such a good momma dog.  I love watching them play together and I can’t wait for more puppy playdates in the future!!

And if you’re looking for your own furry family member, I always encourage folks to adopt don’t shop!  Your new best friend is waiting for you at your local shelter!!
